Weekly Reflection - 1

First Week {7/11/18 - 9/11/18}

As part of the B.Ed. curriculum of 2017-2019 the second phase of the school internship for the trainees started on 7th November 2018, Wednesday. Nine of us from different optional were sent to G.H.S.S Vallikkeezhu for the second phase of our internship programme. On 7th November we reported at the school on sharp 9:20 am and handed over the attendance register to the Head Mistress of the school. After that we met our concerned teachers. The class assigned to me was 8th A, the same class that I have handled during my first phase of internship. As it was Wednesday I had my class during the 6th period. After creating rapport with the students I started off with the 4th unit “Flowers and Showers”. According to the lesson plan I taught the titular picture of the 4th unit.

On the 8th November 2018, the L.P section of the school conducted an English fest and we were assigned with some duties. I even happened to be one among the judges when the recitation and elocution competition were held. On the last day of the week, that is, Friday I was able to complete till the 5th stanza of the poem “Song of the Flower”.
