Weekly Reflection - 7



Seventh Week {14/1/2019 – 18/1/2019}

It was the last week of the teaching practice at school. I conducted the achievement test for the students. The answer paper with values and the marks were noted down. I completed the portions prescribed and did the revision too. Before leaving the school I made sure that all the activities were completed. I checked the notebooks of the students too and corrected them. Before leaving the school all of us got our records signed and sealed. We distributed sweets to the students, teachers, principal and office. And thank them for providing us the opportunity to successfully complete our school internship.

Field Trip Report

OBJECTIVES        As part of the B.Ed. curriculum the trainees were supposed to attend a field trip based on a particular theme. The theme of the field trip for the English Optional trainees was art. In other words, to develop the aesthetic sense, philosophy of art, philosophy of beauty, theory of art, imagination and creativity to become an effective teacher in English was the objective of this trip. For this purpose along with the Optional teacher, other staffs and students we attended a field trip Thiruvananthapuram and the places we visited were ‘Kuthiramalika’, ‘Chitralayalam’, ‘Napier Museum’ and ‘Kovalam Beach’.
