Weekly Reflection - 3



Third Week {26/11/2018 – 30/11/2018}

We completed the third week of the teaching practice also successfully. All the trainees were busy with their portions and class. On one of the days on this week all the trainees took part in the gardening activities. We were all happily engaged in planting trees and small plants which was a wonderful experience. Though we were busy with our works and classes, we actively took part in activities of the school also the mid-day meal of the school was served by us. We divided ourselves into groups and served the meal in alternative days. In this week also teachers of general subjects from the college visited the school and observed the classes. The concerned teachers from the school also used to observe the class of the trainees.

Field Trip Report

OBJECTIVES        As part of the B.Ed. curriculum the trainees were supposed to attend a field trip based on a particular theme. The theme of the field trip for the English Optional trainees was art. In other words, to develop the aesthetic sense, philosophy of art, philosophy of beauty, theory of art, imagination and creativity to become an effective teacher in English was the objective of this trip.
